The mission of the Liberty Police Department is to provide the highest quality of police services to our customers; the citizens of and visitors to our town. We are dedicated to improve the quality of life in our town; our department will work in partnership with our community to provide a high degree of effective and efficient public safety while maintaining respect for cultural diversity and individual rights and dignity.

The Liberty Police Department is a full service municipal police agency. During 2013 over 13,000 request for services and assistance were handled. The department operates under the philosophy of community based policing with positive communication and interaction with other law enforcement agencies and citizen associations to improve police services.
