Form of Government in Liberty

The Town of Liberty has a Manager/Council Form of Government consisting of a policy making electorate and a Town Manager and town employees.  The elected policy making element include the Mayor and five Council Members.  The Mayor of Liberty is elected every two years to serve a two-year term and the Town Council members are elected every four years to serve four-year terms.  The Town Manager is hired by the Town Council and leads the Town employees in managing the day-to-day operations around town.
